You are not going to get handed to a sales rep.
I started framing as a teenager and did it for a living before I ran anything.
From there I built high-end custom homes in Florida and Massachusetts, then moved to Maine and started Newman Homes. Here that has meant commercial work and Maine State Housing projects as well as houses.
The work now runs from multi-million-dollar builds and additions on the lakes down to a single bathroom. I still answer my own phone, and most of the time the voice on the other end is mine.

Maine does not license general contractors, so there is no licence for me to wave at you. What I have is work you can go look at, a fixed price in writing, and a phone number I answer.
