Every price band published on this site is a planning range averaged across many estimates, not a quote for your house. Costs move with site conditions, material choices and what turns up once work starts, and no page here can price a property nobody has seen.
The page also makes the regulatory position plain. Maine does not license general contractors or builders, so nothing on this site should be read as claiming a license the state does not issue. Plumbing and electrical work is performed by licensed tradespeople.

Every dollar figure on this site is a qualifying range averaged across hundreds of past estimates. It isn’t a quote or an offer.
Nor is it a promise.
Real projects land above or below a published band. Your property and scope affect the final cost.
So does anything found after work begins.
Only the number written into a signed contract binds anybody.
Cost Guides
Our cost guides calculate bands across example sizes to show how the math works. Those examples are arithmetic, not prices for a specific house.
Guides are updated annually. Material costs move between updates.
What We Do Not Claim
We make no state licensing claim, because Maine has no licensing standard for general contractors or builders. No builder in this state holds such a credential.
We prefer to say so plainly. State-credentialed electrical and plumbing work is handled by people who hold the required credential.
We do not guarantee permit approval. We prepare and file applications. The municipal code enforcement officer decides.
We do not claim a perfect record. Our figure is 94% on time and on budget, tracked monthly, and the 6% is the honest part of it.
We do not present testimonials as every review we have. The reviews page is a selection of real customer quotes, quoted accurately, from a public profile rated 4.7 across 18 reviews.
